eIFL, an international not-for-profit organisation based in Europe with a global network of partners that runs a wide range of programmes and events designed to increase access to knowledge and SPARC Europe have submitted a response to the public consultation on the Research Infrastructure Development Plan 2011-2020 presented by the Slovenian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

The joint response aims at supporting the establishment of a national open data and open publication infrastructure and mandatory deposition of publicly funded data and publications, providing evidence for the benefit of open access policies and guidelines for how to best structure them.
